Do we know if anyone is prescribing either Neomycin or Rifaximin for our kids:? Are there any studies on either/both antibiotics and their use with children? I remember asking our gastro about Neomycin a while ago and he said that he does not usually prescribe it for children.

Hi Elena,My daughter (age 11) was put on a 2 month course of Neomycin a year ago . Prior to that (2 years ago) she was on a course of Rifaximin for bacteria overgrowth .It worked really well.
