Hi All,

Interesting, isn't it, that we humans are so often unlike one

another in our likes and dislikes. I think quite highly of Bradshaw

and have read three of his books and it is likely that I will

probably re-read them. Other authors who I also think highly of are:

Forward, Lucia Cappachione, e and Dawson(?), H.

Hendrix, Alice , etc. Too bad the broad-based research and

their personal experiences that their books are based on was not

available many years ago. Our lives and the lives of others close to

us may well have been different had that been the case. On the other

hand, we are very fortunate to now have their books, to witness

significant advances in psychopharmacology, and to now have the

internet so we may share with each other. Because of these, we no

longer need to go through life dealing with difficult mental

disorders in total darkness.

I have not posted to this list before, though I have been

reading people's posts for some time now, possibly a few weeks. My

thanks to all of you for sharing. As for me, I grew up in a Middle

Eastern country having parents who grew up in another Middle Eastern

country, and I attended a Christian Mission School for over twelve

years. By the way, I was not born Christian; no, not Moslem either.

My nada died over two decades ago after causing much unintended harm

to all around her. My father was traumatized by his fate; maybe if

he lived now, he would not be quite as traumatized. Bless them both

for they had difficult lives, more difficult than usual.

Best wishes to all. God bless. M. R.
