Guest guest
Hello Group, Our doctor recomends to use Vancomicin for our son's gut bacteria. I read that Vancomicin is a very strong and aggressive antibiotic with many side effects. We used Goldenseal Root so far, but it is not strong enough to clear the bad flora out. I need advice on how reasonable is it to use a strong medicine for the gut, considering that son's immune is still very low. Should I expect strong die-off, candida flare up, remission of bacteria eventually? Any exprienced advice would be deeply appreciated, San
Guest guest
Hi San, We really battled here with clostridia. Couldn't clear it with GS and we even did fagyl previously but nothing cleared it until we did the vancomycin. We were recommended to do it for 6mths but we did it for 10 weeks with diflucan. By the end the candida was really a problem and I had to add naturals. Also coming off the canco, towards the end we did up to a half a trillion pro bios. I'm not kidding either we really wanted to come off the vanco without regression and we did a pretty good job of it in the end. Clearing the clostridia has been big for us, no die off just improvements from the first week and if you can't clear it with the naturals I highly recommend the vanco. We are still clostridia free 5 mths on and I am being pedantic with probios etc.. because I was warned that it takes the body a long time to recognise that the clostridia is an intruder instead of a resident. If I've left anything out and you want to know something, just ask. Good luck! x > > Hello Group, > Our doctor recomends to use Vancomicin for our son's gut bacteria.
