Hi ,

We had that just before was 16..was it DBD222 about not being

able to manage their own affairs? I just did the usual , take a deep

breath and jump through the hoops, if it is the one I have just dug

out it is fairly brief and just some tick boxes? Then they sent

someone round to 'check/help' the chap said he was there to just

tick all the boxes, it was all very brief. was supposed to

answer some questions but I said that was a bad idea and he was

happy with that...he did say hi to and then we went into

another room and he asked some questions....Then they send the

approval letter giving you the authority to act.

Is V still doing well?

Hi All,

My daughter's DLA is up for renewal. I have just received

a letter titled above. It says 'we are writing to review

your role. We want to ensure the appointeeship is working

well and that there are no issues we need to address.

Has anyone else receieved such a letter and if so how did

they fill it in.

I must admit, I am finding it quite offensive - I am her

Mother - what do they expect me to be doing with the money

and who else do they think should be the appointee - quite

worrying this one.

Any help or advice gratefully received.

Hi ,

Thanks. No it wasn't the DBD222,it was BF57B 10/11. V is only 13 so it was a bit

of a surprise. Anyway, I have rung them up and it seems that someone has made a

mistake - they apologised profusely!

Nice to know though that when the time comes, it doesn't sound too onerous!

Mind you, the rate that V is improving who knows where she will be at 16! V is

doing amazing - growing taller, body shape changing, looking more like a 13.5

year old + the best thing is the improvement in her cognition - I am astounded

at what a difference the oestrogen etc. has made to her - eye contact,

acknowledging people, and overall awareness has become almost normal. The

headaches have gone and the photosensitivity has too. She sleeps better, coped

with going away just before xmas really well. It is just wonderful.

I've started her on the DE now and that has made a difference - seems to have

helped her body de-tox - your yoghurt idea made all the difference.

How's ?
