Guest guest
Hi I went to Target this morning to buy dd new shoes (size 13.5). I wanted velcro fasteners since she can't tie laces. I was told that they are now stopping velcro over size 12 and moving entirely to laces!! Is there anywhere I can get shoes for her without going back to laces? I did eventually find one pair which fastens with a zip in her size, and one pair which fastens with velcro in size 1 (obviously old stock, and she'll grow into them quickly). Many thanks for any advice Maggie
Guest guest
I second the Payless thing, esp going to the general manager of the store. The ones here seem to be pretty open to getting in what ever we need if they are able to do it. If it's an issue with other families with kids who have autism, maybe even a few of them to call to help encourage the thought that there will be a market to continue them. I haven't heard anything about the laces issue. Have you checked with Stride Rite? Debi
