Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm looking at trying out a calcium supplement with Norman (17yrs) but has not been on supplemental calcium for approx 5-6yrs, and casein free for a longer time. Reasons I stopped supplementing was due to constipation issues and also suspected (but not completely sure) that it made him more twitchy seizurewise whilst on calcium. Also had high oxalates back then, currently signs of oxalate aggravation/effect are reduced/gone with change of diet, Vit K and D. At time of oxalate issues he was worse on calcium citrate and better off calcium. With our continuing battles to overcome insomnia, I want to see if adding a calcium supplement might help with this and achy legs. Has anyone use Calcium Hydroxyapatite or have any information about it. Would really be grateful. emily
Guest guest
Hi , We give Katy a small amount of Solgar calcium carbonate after each meal. She's done Ok with it . I think it may help her reflux. She could never tolerate Vit k. all the best, Sharon xx > > Hi everyone, I'm looking at trying out a calcium supplement with Norman > (17yrs) but has not been on supplemental calcium for approx 5-6yrs, and > casein free for a longer time.
