Guest guest
This may sound really silly, but it's how I take all my pills even as an adult. In one hand I have glass with something to drink (or if you don't drink from a glass without spilling a cup with a lid and a straw.) In the other hand I take the pill pinched between my thumb and the finger next to it (or just balance the pill on the finger next to the thumb.) I place the pill in the back of my throat -near that little flap by the back of the tongue, then I leave the pill there, remove my finger(s), and quickly take a drink from a glass or even a sip from a straw , and the pill gets washed down the throat easily. It's kind of an odd way, my husband makes fun of me every time I have to take multiple pill because I do them one at a time the same way, but it's pretty easy to teach where the pill goes (just slowly push your finger back along your tongue until you touch that flap, then you know where to put the pill) they can practice without the pill, anyway -works for me. I guess it's important to note that you aren't trying to gag yourself, don't arc to high or stick your finger down your throat, but go slow along the tongue to the little flap and you won't gag. Anyway, I thought it was worth mentioning, good luck with the pills.
