Guest guest
Dr. Holler, who works with Dr. Frim, didn't think need to be banded either. I told her I wanted banded and she brought in Dr. Frim to look at for me. I don't think Dr. Frim would of recommended it but he did ask what I wanted to do and quickly wrote the Rx for the casting. In fact only my DH and myself seem to think it is an issue. But in the end WE are the only ones that matter. I have always felt that if I don't fight for what I believed was best for my child then who would? Go with your heart. You need to be comfortable with your decision. Whether you band or not - you want to know that you are doing the best for you and your family. If you want to band you might be able to call the Neuro and tell him you thought about it and want to go forward with the Band. I would think they could write the Rx and fax or mail it to you. You shouldn't need to go back in, they have Aidan's records and can pull them to see you have been in already. At 10 months you are at the tail end of the option of banding. So if you do want to do it you will need to move forward quickly. Go with your heart it will not lead you wrong.
