Hi,

I'm sure someone has already gotten back to you on this but just in

case here it is. The difference between passive and active is a

passive helmet sits on the baby's head and relies on growth.

Eventually the head will grow into the shape of the helmet, round. An

active band it just that, active. It applies gentle pressure (not

felt by the baby)to the head and redirects the growth of the head.
