Guest guest
That is not true at all. Food allergies and intolerances can well be present without any GI symptoms. But re testing it is true that tests might not reveal much, simply because often they don't, especially when it comes to allergies and sensitivities!! Best to find out by observing and trying different removing suspected foods etc, at the same time addressing/calming the immune system. Candida will come and go depending on the state of the immune system, so not much point addressing it (unless very acute) as will keep popping back for as long as immunity out of order. Hi, my 7 year old son has a diagnosis of autism and sensory processing disorder, but no obvious GI symptoms. I emailed a nutritionist specialising in ASD and she says he's therefore highly unlikely to have food allergies/intolerances or candida and there's no point testing for them. Does anyone have any knowledge/personal experience on this? Or failing that, the name of a good specialist? Thanks! Abi
