Guest guest
often it is assume dif we fight or resist a new exposure to some things that we do not like nor have an interest in things. It might not be that way in true with in us. Example the husband of me much eyars back got computer and since lacked its purpose because the concept of this was too abstract to me to think words could be typed and transfer in written fashions to another. Nor did I to undestand the concept of mouse and other things , then slowly was of somewhat curious since had watched the husband and childrens begin to like of this computer, so took more notice to it. The husband asked of me do you want to learn of this I to say much quickly out of fear NO as it looked too complex and scary for me to learn this. He kept asking over much months and then finally I to wanted to try. He to showed me things that was new concepts of learning to me nad so it sparked an intrigue to the computer. He to teached me. I to had many meltdowns and screams and self rages and tears and mean words to him and wanted to throw the computer to the floor to break it. It was because it was of scare to me . I to lacked its concepts and that feared of me. I to resisted out of fear and lack of getting how it can be to benefit me. But once began to slowly learn how it could benefit me I to be to kept seeking to learn of it . Now it is my voice box to the world. It is strongest tool of connect to me. So in teaching and learning it is good to have exposure and chunk it into very small steps, some times exposure of it in the room is the first step, let us lead when ready for next steps such as we begin to approach it, do not set any expectations but maybe just model without words to us over it yet so we can absorb what we see from our own understanding and then add in puts that will be to cause maybe more connect to you and the computer for example you child likes clifford the dog, buy software of clifford and you play it while you child is in the room or sitting on you lap. point out things to her. but no expectaions yet. If mouse is hard they have of touch screens for computers. Sondra
