Guest guest
Yep, she's getting a local made helmet. It is from Loma University/Medical center in Loma CA (about 1 hr east of Los Angeles). I pick it up next Thursday. The orthotist laughed when I asked if it was active or passive and said that " I really did do my homework! " . No one had ever asked him that. --- In Plagiocephaly , " BRETT ZIMMERMAN " <zim34@m...> wrote: > , great to hear that Makenna was casted. Now, you are getting a locally made helemt right? I am so glad to hear that it is active, I am not the only one!!! When will you get it? Congrats and sorry to hear that she wasn't feeling too well. Best wishes and happy roundness. Guest guest
Yeah, isn't that so good to hear, our pt told me the same thing. I was really glad that I knew what the difference was. But it was really interesting explaining to this group that I have an active helmet, since they didn't hear of anyone who had a locally made active helmet. It is wonderful that other people are out there making these wonderful things for our little ones. if you don't mind me asking, but what is the price of your helmet? Ours is just under 600.00, then we pay only 38.00 out of pocket, so I was wondering since yours is active and locally made what the price difference was.
