Colleen,

You can put some cortizone cream on his forehead. That should help.

Also ask your ortho to put some moleskin in his band, that should

take care of the problem!

as well. The sweating has gotten better. I was worried yesterday

because it was almost 70 degrees here but he didn't seem to sweat

much at all.

off last night for his bath his entire forehead was really, really

red (almost like a heat rash in some spots). I kept it off him last

night and when he woke up this morning the redness on one side of his

forehead had faded but the other side was all scratched up, almost

like a rug burn. Have you noticed anything like this with your

daughters? I'm trying not to get frustrated but I'm so anxious to

get him in the band and I worry every second that he's out of it that

I'm missing a growth spurt!!

Jack just started wearing his band on Tuesday and he did sweat quite a bit in the first two days. I stripped him down to his onesie as well. The sweating has gotten better. I was worried yesterday because it was almost 70 degrees here but he didn't seem to sweat much at all.

Unfortunately he is having skin problems. I thought we had gotten them solved with an adjustment on Thursday but when I took the band off last night for his bath his entire forehead was really, really red (almost like a heat rash in some spots). I hope Kirsten and Jocelyn get used to their helmets soon!

Overheating

Did your children overheat when they started the bands? The girls are really sweaty when we take them off and Jocelyn's face was really red (even after she stopped screaming). We have stripped them down to just a onesie and no socks, did anyone else have to do this? Does that wear off or are we wearing summer clothes for the rest of the winter?Kirsten & Jocelyn who still don't like their helmets5 1/2 monthsOregonFor more plagio info

We haven't had any big skin problems, yet. They get very red in some

spots, but it fades. Good luck getting Jack to the right fit!
