Thank you all so much for your advice. I did call CT. They told me to leave the helmet off until that spot faded completely. Unfortunately it's been all day and the spot is still there. We'll go in tomorrow for an adjustment.

I hadn't heard about the moleskin lining before. What a great idea for sensitive skin. Jack inherited some very fair Irish skin and eczema (lucky him!). I'm going to buy the Aveeno soap tonight and ask about the moleskin at CT tomorrow. Thanks again for your help!

Hi Colleen,My daughter had the same spot that your son has. It was treated with cortizone cream which did help somewhat. My ortho ended up having to put moleskin in her band. It worked like a charm. Once the moleskin was in we didn't have any more problems. I'm sure if you call your ortho they will see you right away. Ask your ortho about moleskin. I've never heard of a baby not being able to wear a band b/c of sensitive skin. has really sensitive skin too.Good luck and please keep us posted.> My son Jack got his Doc Band yesterday.
