Guest guest
Thanks for forward !They say:Compared with controls, significantly higher improvement ratings were observed in treated children over a mean period of 4 months in verbal communication, receptive and expressive language, attention and stereotypical behavior. Approximately one-third of treated children demonstrated moderate to much improvement. The incidence of adverse effects was low.I've been following reports from many parents whose kids are on (or have tried) leucovorin – judging by those reports yes true that many see big improvements with it, but there are also quite a few negative reports, where kids don't tolerate it at all, no even after tweaking doses, protocols, adjustment periods. Most of those negatives return to baseline after stopping. But when it works it mostly brings BIG improvements. Guest guest
Thanks for this, . I know on the B6 children list (which is mainly for families with a child with an inborn error of metabolism known as pyridoxine dependency) some are also using Leucorovin. I don't understand quite what's going on - may raise it with Heny's neuro when we get the results from the analysis of his CSF neurotransmitters. Guest guest
Isn't it a problem to get hold of a large enough dose unless you have a prescription?
