Guest guest
Well for a change, someone on this site,is speaking the middleeastern cuisine language,of mine. No,Ayesha, " Shawarma " ,is a huge inverted pyramidal structure created of shredded chicken meat, maybe of about 20 chicken, against a low burning flame. This one that I mentioned, is an apparatus consisiting of max 8 horizontal rods(skewers),enclosed in a glass shaped unit, with a flame in the background and the chickens about 5-8,in each skewer rotating slowly against the fire.Called as Roastary, out here.Similar to how we grill a chicken or fish, while camping. Camping se mujhe yaad aaya,I have many doctor friends who work 5 days a week only, unlike me who works 6days.On weekends, they have their Mitsubishi Pajeros,Toyota Landcruisers, packed with camping equipments, including tents, torches, insect repellents,Bar-BQ apparatus etc etc and then all drive down thru these superb highways to some isloated desert spots and have a great weekend, something I never heard back home, doctors doing so. Yes,Ravin,it's actually my suspicious wife who is more interested to move out from here to Pune than me. It's b'cos of her mistaken belief that I resemble many filmi heroes probably. Infact, her belief stems from the fact that, many of the local women live on the staple diet of Hindi movies and have huge PINUP posters,of Hrithik,Salman,Shahrukh and Amir.So one day, many yrs ago, when my Biwi, called me up in the clinic and asked me what I was doing,I casually had mentioned,EK SUNDAR SI SAUDI LADKI KE AANKH MEIN AANKH DAAL KE BAAT KAR RAHA HOON,AUR.....and that lead to chaos everytime later,if I didn't answer her mobile in a couple of rings. Infact, what I wanted to continue telling her was ....AUR USE BAATA RAHA THA KI BEHENJI AAPKI AAKHEN TIRCHI HAIN,IS KA ILAAJ KARA LE,but by then I was too late,so she feels the sooner we go back the safer, she will be.
