Guest guest
What we need to do is stand up for our rights and stop taking the Dept of Ag interpretation of farm to consumer delivery rights as law. Please stop undermining the progress made by the Hartmanns FIVE years ago that allows the minority, insignificant farmer to legally take his products to town. With paperwork known as an agency certificate, I can represent my consumer families at the dairy farm - purchase their milk from the dairy and bring it to town for them. We can't continue to play the game of accepting the views of our Dept of Ag when they are in bed with the big business of milk processing and marketing, as well as commodity corn, beans and chemicals. It's no wonder they can pick individuals and squeeze the life out of them with all that clout. Hartmanns are pioneers and should be respected as such. We need to make it clear that raw milk is not for sale at the Trad Foods Warehouse and never was intended as such. In this case, association is not illegal but only implied. Stand up and join us, or sit in the shadows and let our healthcare systems work for you. I for one am tired of our dept of ag wasting my time and money on something that is not broken instead of fixing our food supply and environmental issues with real solutions. Thanks for the read, Alvin > > Everything at the warehouse is currently under embargo.
Guest guest
Well said. We are at a point where some pioneers need to step up and address the issue that is going to bring this down. DOA/DOH is clearly trying to use raw milk safety as a wedge to make farmer direct sales as difficult as possible. Without some sort of convincing answer to the current anti-raw dairy media campaign, public opinion is in danger of swinging against the minority, insignificant farmer, and the consumers who prefer non commodity products. The Dept of Ag is not broken, it is working exactly the way it is intended to.
