Guest guest
She isn't 16 yet is she ? I am expecting something like this on Sam;s next birthday I will say everything is fine and dandy thnakyou Mx Hi All,My daughter's DLA is up for renewal. I have just received a letter titled above. It says 'we are writing to review your role. We want to ensure the appointeeship is working well and that there are no issues we need to address.Has anyone else receieved such a letter and if so how did they fill it in.I must admit, I am finding it quite offensive - I am her Mother - what do they expect me to be doing with the money and who else do they think should be the appointee - quite worrying this one.Any help or advice gratefully received. Guest guest
That reminds me - has anyone obtained any info on the advantages and disadvantages of being registered as a Deputy with the Court of Protection? My digging so far hasn't yielded much practical info. I see you have to account for spending - if that means daily/weekly/monthly/ annual accounts accounting for every bus ticket then I shall not want to do it while he's still a child, I guess, as at the moment his benefits are paid to me to use at my discretion and I don't have to keep a paper trail.
