Try some hydrocortisone cream - we had some over the counter stuff that helped a lot with Collin's dry spots.

seems to have a dry spot on her head. It is where the wave is on her helmet just off her forehead. I have been taking her helmet off (just to check) every 5 hours or so, and she goes crazy trying to scratch that area. Is there any thing I can do for her itchy head? Thanks, LouFor more plagio info

Jodi,

Thanks, I hate to sound a little dumb here but is that o.k. to leave on with the helmet or do you wipe it off before putting the helmet back on? I am new to this we have only had the helmet for a week. Thanks again. Lou

I have used witchhazel pads (Tucks Hemorrhoid pads) to clean Georgia's scalp in past, particularly during the warmer weather. Even though his skin looks clear from the rash, if he does have sensitive skin it is probably still a little irritated, just not enough to look red. Even in the cooler weather, I can see that Georgia still sweats a little under her band.

Good luck,

(mom to Georgia)

(he never used to do this before) I don't see anything different on his scalp, and am only using alcohol to clean his band now. Any ideas?? Thanks!Jenn

Jack did this at first but was rubbing the back of his

head against stuff. He sometimes is pulling the hair

around where the helmet closes. I gotta think with as

sweaty as they get it gets a little itchy or a weird

feeling when they have freedom.
