abbis trip to the er.....................

i had to take abbi to the er tonight...i had bought my 4 older boys some of

those capsals that turn to animal sponges when put in water..well.....abbi

ate one....so,she started acting sick,lethargic,just plain yucky..so...i took

her temp cause she felt hot,it was at that time 103.4!!!i frantically rushed

to the er...by the time we got there,her temp was 104.1......they did

xrays,and a urinalysis.....said the fever could not be caused by the sponge,and

that

the capsal had actually opened up inside her stmach and turned into a friggin

animal sponge!!!!the doc said he believes it is in her digestive tract,and

should come out soon...but,he also said he has no explanation for the high

fever,and since he found no source of infection,he did not prescribe an

antibiotic.....im calling her doc and taking her in monday....theres a reason

the

fever is so high,and with her having ear surgery Tuesday it scares me to

death..he checked her ears very very good and said they look great,but im still

worried.....then..i get home to find out,brian has a high temp too....so,were

going to there docs office monday....sonie
