After reading a lot more scientific evidence of the profound effect of meditation on brain and immune function, I am determined that I will somehow tame my overactive mind LOL

I am looking for effective ways to meditate. I have tried many approaches, but my mind still races with thoughts. Any ideas from people with active minds who are successfully meditating daily?
