How do you know if your child has a phenol sensitivity? How did you find out that your child had a yeast problem that you wanted to have addressed through grapefruit seed extract? I really believe that my daughter (LOTS of sensory issues and Aspie) has some type of biochemical reaction going on, but I want a testing that gives definitive answers before I start just giving her supplements. We have had a urine metal toxicity test done and the pinprick style allergy tests done,, tho it was only for the MOST common allergens. These came back normal. I would like to know where or who or how others have found the answers to getting the testing done and actually coming up with finding out what the issues are. It was not die off it was a negative reaction- extremely high in phenols-in phenol sensitive people they cannot tolerate. Look into primal defense (start slow). Subject: Yeast I have been giving my son the grapefruit seed extract since Saturday evening. He has been real emotional and aggresive. This started yesterday afternoon and is continuing today.
