"ince I was the one who started this I thought I should let you know what my doc said... He said that the Norvir I'm taking will enhance Viagra effect so that taking 25mg may have the same effect as 100mg... I did take the V relatively shortly after taking my AM dose of Norvir so it makes sense that I had a lot of it in my system when I took the Viagra. Normally, I take the Viagra in the evening, long after my morning Norvir but before I take my evening dose."While were on this subject.........  More than a few gay men are being seen in emergency rooms with priapism, after taking too much viagra/cialis, etc, with Norvir, and sometimes with injectible ED drugs, as well.   This is not a good thing.   Norvir really does potentiate viagra, so please, be carefulIn addition, another doctor friend had a recent cluster of hep C infections in his practice.  All deny IV drug abuse, but they seem to have shared needles when injecting an ED drug.Any injection can transmit Hep C, if you share needles.  It doesn't have to be IM, IV, or street drugs!
