But compared to her cousin who is a month older and a foot taller she looks smaller.. Im not meaning to scare anyone in my first few days here but you hear so much about pedifiles (sp) these days attacking young children. Or even children getting molested by people they know.. And is so trusting and unable to tell me if anything were to happen to her that I would absolutely freak if something were to happen to her.. SO I am checking into cervix freezing and if she ever grows out of her developmental disabilities or other disablilities it can be unfrozen.. I dont mean to come across as cras or uncaring about this but I have thought about it alot.. Aunt to 16 Girls and Boys Re: Re: PMS need help badly hi my daughter has just started this year she is 12 and started 2 months after her birth day I dont talk on her much and some times takes me a little to read all emails --- but it all depends on the child as we all know they are all diffrent my advice is to get the book by American girl it is called( The care and keeping of you) if you havent already .we went threw this book alot but didnt do the tampon page...let them try after they start if it does not work you can talk to doctor and they can put them on depo shots that work on some kids to stop there period and there is probable more but i know of these two i was scared to because of all the storys and ideas but my daughter took it better than some grown ups then you just have to learn them to change it when it is time. I had it done when my pap smear showed some irregular cells and a colposcopy cone biopsy confirmed it. The cervical cells are frozen with liquid nitrogen for 3 minutes, thawed for 3 minutes and frozen again for 3 minutes. There's the weekly patch, the pills, the shots, etc. Also, pregnancy would only be a part of the issues with rape. There's the STD issue as well as the emotional impact. I know, unfortunately, we moms can't protect our girls forever, so I don't know what the answer is. I personally would never want to prevent Allie from being able to one day have babies if she chooses, but I also realize I'm in a different position with Allie than some people and I certainly cannot stand in judgement of anyone else's individual circumstances. Just wanted to point out different birth control options. But I know those abortificients (the pill, weekly patch, the shots) can cause so many side effects, I am not sure who would want to deal with those on top of the autism. He is finding high testosterone in both males and females with autism. He believes this is a result from mercury poisoning because testosterone binds to mercury and that perhaps in females the body makes higher testosterone to attempt to clear the mercury. He also believes that this is why many girls with autism have precocious puberty because the body also attempts to make more estrogen to get the body back into harmony. This was my understanding of what he presented, if anyone else thinks I've mis-stated, pls correct me. Dr. Geier does have a study underway and wants females. You can do a search for his website and email him, he will email the .pdf protocol file for your local ped, who he depends on to carry out the study. HTH, Debi .. Bridget Re: PMS need help badly I do not have a statistic but I got to meet with Dr. Mark Geier a few weeks ago. He is finding high testosterone in both males and females with autism. He believes this is a result from mercury poisoning because testosterone binds to mercury and that perhaps in females the body makes higher testosterone to attempt to clear the mercury. He also believes that this is why many girls with autism have precocious puberty because the body also attempts to make more estrogen to get the body back into harmony. This was my understanding of what he presented, if anyone else thinks I've mis-stated, pls correct me. Dr. Geier does have a study underway and wants females.
