Hi Kristy,

Syndrome X, also dysmetabolism syndrome, has been around for about four years

or more now. It is considered to be the precursor to diabetes and it is

recognized as people with Syndrome X having a high risk for heart disease,

diabetes and other medical problems. It is a metabolic syndrome related to

obesity. It is marked by trunkal obesity (stomach fat). I forget the name

of the doctor who " coined the phrase " but some of his research went into the

NIH finally recognizing dismetabolism syndrome as a medical disease.

I know that others may have a more complete description -- Marta?

Boy, I'd just bet that you could spend an easy $2000 on their cure.

That kind of $$ should best be spent on Swiss Cholocate!

There is a book on the market that is about Syndrome X. I read it before my

surgery, and it was a perfect fit for me. I can't find the book now.
