Guest guest
We have what is called: Home and Community Based Services. They provide funding for added expenses such as, behavior assistant hours in the home, special equipment (like helmets) ordered, etc etc. Theresa I am not sure of this so don't take it as Gospel truth...But shouldn't yourchild qualify for different social services out there to help.I am new in the possibility of Autism....We are still going through thetesting so I don't know for sure anything yet. But i thought there washelp to supplement what insurance doesn't. Like SSI or something?

It helps when you can see the progress. The depressing part is when it first starts and things seem to get worse instead of better, before the healing starts good. I loved wound care when I worked home health. I'd rather change dressings and try to heal ulcers and wounds. It was a challenge to find something that worked with the pt. Just don't do like one I saw....Had a nice clean wound healing well, and came back after a weekend, and found my nice clean dressing packed with Cumerandine(?Sp) ....LOL. Seems Grandma knew what would heal that thing right up, toot sweet! in Bama http://hometown.aol.com/mdl1031/myhomepage/profile.html Surgery- RNY to DS revision on12/6 -377.5 12/17 - 346.5 ( minus 31lbs) 01/15- 338.1 (minus 39.1lbs) 02/12-330.0 (minus 47.5 lbs) 04/06- 324.3 (minus 53.2 lbs)
