Guest guest
stating that one of the potential side effects of strong antibiotic treatment is that the drug can kill off some of the "good" bacteria Try acidophilus pills; they are cheap and have more bacteria than yogurt. Three years ago, butch me stepped on a pitch fork while planting in my garden. The emergency doctor insisted I take the pills or she would not prescribe the antibiotics. I said I didn't need the acidophilus as I never had a problem with taking any antibiotics before... She told me the bacteria from the acidophilus kept the antibiotic from settling in my stomach and would go where it was supposed to be. It must have worked as I had no discomfort and continue whenever I take any antibiotic... Thad
