Well, not really. 3 days before Christmas I began coughing every 30 seconds. It was like something was tickling the passageway leading to the lungs (not the throat or lungs). Eventually I coughed more and more until Christmas eve where I coughed every 15 seconds, and the infection promoted frequent asthma attacks. Doctor gave me (Biaxin) Clarithromycin 500mg and S1ngulair 10mg. I was in bed with flue symptoms until Dec 27th. Then, the infection came back the 29th to 30th. I barely made it in the new years eve party. Jan 1st wasn't too bad, but got worse Jan 2th and 3rd. I'm feeling much better today (Jan 4th) but the cough is still there. It feels like something is constantly tickling the area between my throat and the entrance to the lungs! The constant coughing irritates my throat, voice and the mussels in my neck.
