Guest guest
But Mandi really the only thing is to bake the paint dry by having the radiator on and get rid of the VOCs by having the window open as much as possible. Guest guest
Some tips here:http://www.ehow.com/info_7758162_oldfashioned-remedies-paint-fumes.html Think i read a bit ago about turning radiators up really high for several hours or so with windows closed (obviously door shut and no-one in) and then opening windows for ventilation for some hours with window open. Guest guest
OH wow Colleen, thanks for that, off to chop! Does the water need to cover onions or do they just sit in it? Guest guest
Can't address the smell but to get rid of the voc particles themselves and other toxicities, put some houseplants in the room. Minimum of two large ones three or more better. Keep them there for at least a month. NASA did plenty of studies on off gassing and their Ill effects on the astronauts and they found houseplants to be the best. I am not at home right now but there is an excellent book on the subject will post the details later. Radhe

Guest guest
I'd make sure that all of you soaked every day in Epsom salts. I am not sure but hopefully these VOCs may go down the sulfation pathway...JxSubject: Re: Re: HELP VOC Paint SmellTo: Autism-Biomedical-Europe Date: Wednesday, 21 December, 2011, 23:19 I only have one house plant that's survived the kids and dog and its kinda sad but quite big, I put that in as well Mx Can't address the smell but to get rid of the voc particles themselves and other toxicities, put some houseplants in the room.
