Fellow Listmates,

Does anyone know where I can get nasal Hydroxy B12 or possibly transdermal

hydroxy B12 if it exists?

My son is an overmethylator. Before we found out,we tried both MB12 injections

and transdermal and although we saw improvements in language, it sent him

bonkers. Also, the injections were a nightmare to administer as he was so

traumatised by it, even in his sleep.

We've tried the oral hydroxy B12 with no success.

Would appreciate it if anyone has come across either a nasal or transdermal

version and has any leads on where to source it from.

Many thanks,

Tracey

Yasko do a spray called GET B12 spray. its very concentrated and you just hold it in the mouth so it doesn't have to pass the gut.  Also you could use metabolics hydrox liquid and use it under tongue or yasko do hydroxy mega drops.

Yasko would not recomend MB12 for over methylator - I assume this is comt+ ?Often Amy Yasko would recomend hair test through her to look at lithium levels as this is needed to transport B12.

I suspect it would have been excess methyl donors that sent him bonkers.BWAlison R

Hi Mandi,

Can I ask why you'd be inclined to stick with the MB in lower doses? Is that better than the hydroxy? Still trying to get my head round this Yasko thing. He tested as an overmethylator and needing hydroxy. Someone told me they thought the hydroxy wasnt stable in the body.

So much to learn, arrgghh!!
