UK MGIMS MEET.

Dear All,

As Sadhana Madam has mentioned, I did volunteer to attempt to

organize a UK MGIMS Union and as Dr. Ravi has already laid out the

blueprint and I am just about to follow it.

Organisers : The young blood?? Dr. Ayesha(???) and myself

Contacts : The list below are of people who have been named on this

mailing list. I hope that most people on this list are also members

of the mailing list. It would be extremely useful if everyone could

provide us with their contact details.

Date : Proposed date ( this is completely arbitrary, but once we

have a date, we can then haggle about it!!!) Saturday, 27th

November,2004

Venue : Places mentioned included Birmingham, Sheffield. I don't

have any experience with sites in this country.

POA : Continuously bombard all members on the list with mails until

they reply one way or the other!! No, maybe not!! Seriously, attempt

to get an approximate number of likely attendes by 1st September,

and then decide venue and date for MEET!!

What do we do when we meet : Get someone to serve some lunch, some

music, and if possible a " DOWN MEMORY LANE " Slide Show, and

gossip.

I am absolutely sure that I have omitted many names from the list,

and would be grateful if people forwarded this mail or informed

them. Although this sounds extremely disorganized and airy, it would

be great if people responded as early as possible, and then we might

be able to make slightly more concrete plans. I am not sure what

others think, but even if only a small number are able to get

together, it might still turn out to be fun.

Also, please remember I am sending this out without asking for

anyone else's opinion (reminds me of Orwell's 1984), so

obviously

everything mentioned above is subject to public demand.
