Hello Everyone,

At one time or another some of you had expressed interest in Camp Mosquito Adventure Camp for those with Chronic Lung Disease. I have mailed out many applications and hope that you all have had the chance to look over them and the various information I sent along with it.

Camp is something that EVERYONE should experience in their lives.

I ask that you PLEASE send in your applications ASAP and your $20 deposit so that we can estimate the number of campers we will have. We also need the applications so that we can try to arrange the airfare to and from camp for out of town visitors.

Contact me ASAP and I will EMAIL a camper application and a staff application.

If you have lost the info I mailed to you previously please fill out the packet I am emailing you and get it to me ASAP. We DO have Infection Control Policies in Place.

We do not want anyone to have their health compromised.

Camp Week :

June 21-25th, 2004.

Cost :

$260 per Camper/Staff Member

Fund Raising help is available

Transportation help may also be available.

Some may ask, why camp ?

I have an answer for you. I grew up never knowing anyone who needed treatments, CPT and missed tons of school a year. Sure I could have gone to a regular camp, but I was often embarressed to take medication or cough in front of my healthy peers. Last year at camp, even though I was 25yo, I laughed and laughed and laughed and giggled like I was 16yo again. It was a blast. I did this while using 4L of oxygen.

I only wished that I had gone to camp as a kid . . .

So send in your information ASAP. We are always looking for volunteers and escorts. So, if your child or teen is too afraid to go to camp and sleep away from mom and or dad, you are welcome to attend and be a cabin escort.
