New to helmet - seeking tips on what to look out for

Hi! My 7 mth old son just received a locally made and designed

helmet. (He has torticollis and plagio.) For those with helmet/band

experience, I would appreciate any tips or advice you have in regards

to the wearing of the helmet. (i.e.: What to look out for, how to

tell if the helmet is tight enough or too tight, proper care,

cleaning etc., how long to wear etc.) Due to the fact that the

helmet my son received was designed by the Orthotist himself, we did

not have the luxary of receiving any sort of " information sheet " to

go by. Any all all advice is sincerely appreciated!
