Guest guest
I would give him 3 more round at that dose and if you still see nothing then increase dose, should be 7.5mg but I would go for 10mg and if still nothing happens after 5 rounds of that then you have your answer. I must add we did not see any gains for 20 rounds but that was because they were masked by yeast, so we had negatives and a need to keep going Mandi x Hi All,We're just coming to the end of our 2nd round of AC chelation - (ALA only) with my 5 year old son. He weighs 42lbs so we have been giving 5mg doses and have giving all the supplements as per Andy's suggestions both off and on round. So far, we've seen no effects, either negative or positive and I was just wondering what to do next. I know Andy suggests that you should try 10 rounds to decide whether it's going to work for you and a hair test that we did suggested that chelation would be a good idea (didn't meet counting rules but very high levels of tin and antimony which I think is an early warning sign of Mercury problems).Do we carry on at the same dose and wait for something to happen or should I think about increasing the dose at some point? (and if so, when?) I know quite a lot of people have seen stuff happen reasonably quickly so would appreciate any experiences of things taking a while to kick in??Thanks in advance,Lornax

Guest guest
Hi Mandi and Vicky, Thanks very much for your advice. I'll definitely carry on at this dose and then increase if nothing happens still. I think because we'd had some really wacky behaviour when starting SCD that we were expecting something terrible to happen straight away! He has been waking slightly earlier and been a bit hyper / overenergetic for the last couple of mornings - nothing major but just more full of beans that I would expect - might this be a sign of yeast starting? We've never had an issue with that previously and so I'm not entirely sure what I should be looking for but keen to avoid the worst problems some people seem to experience when chelating...... Vicky - Yes I was concerned about the tin - in Andy's Hair test book he mentioned that this could be an early warning sign of mercury and certainly I have fillings, he was vaccinated at a time when mercury was still in them and our homeopath / cranial osteopath are both convinced he has mercury - hence our desire to start chelation..... Having an operation this week so will have to miss a round next weekend but plan to press on after that - thanks again for all your help.
