Thanks . I am waiting to hear back from someone about this and will call you when I get all the details.FYI-my sister goes to this local brewery frequently. On Saturdays they always some type of organization there. She said there is always info, posters and sometimes a place for donations. For instance some of the organizations that have been there were Make-a-Wish Foundation, a Juvenile Diabetes group and a college. Like I said this would probably be nothing more than raising awareness with maybe a few donations. BUT I am willing to sit there and tell anyone about Infantile Scoliosis if it will raise awareness... ...which BTW I think is KEY!!!I was hoping maybe Joan would want to go sit there with me on a Saturday too. You would be great Joan because Hayden is in a cast right now.So does this sound like

something I should pursue? Thoughts ANYONE??????

Thanks Joan. I am really excited about doing this. For so long I have wanted to do something for ISOP. Everything I have ever started working on never seems to come together. This will not cost money, except for ISOP sending us some brochures, etc. ANd hopefully we can make a little while we are there by donations.I'll touch base with you next week.TashaMommy of 4 year old twin boys- and Fort Worth, TexasSeries of 6 casts for 14 months and now in a night brace. is treated at Texas ish Rite Hospital. You can read 's story at....http://www.infantilescoliosis.org/stories.htmlFrom: Joan Vallee To: infantile_scoliosis Sent: Fri, January 8, 2010 5:44:49 PMSubject: Re: Tasha-Joan

I would love to spread the word that treating under 2 is key. And not to ignore any kind of hump on your infants back. Anyway, I can't wait to talk to people about it and I get to see TASHA.. yay!!!

I am here to help you Tasha in any capacity.

That is exactly how I feel and think too . You just never know who you will give this info to that will later use, need or pass it on to someone they know.I will keep you posted on this as I get more info. I would love to have a before and after xray of a child that went through casting to have there. I will give you a call once I actually talk to the lady. I am having a hard time getting them. I just may have to go to a beer tasting this Saturday :)And Joan, I am so glad you want to join me. I'll keep you both posted ladies. Let's get the word out this year and save some more babies!!!!!! !TashaMommy of 4 year old twin boys- and Fort Worth, TexasSeries of 6 casts for 14 months and now in a night brace. is treated at Texas ish Rite Hospital. You can read 's story

ABSOLUTELY!! !! If you’re willing, please do so. Awareness ~IS~ key. Even if you don’t raise a dime, I can promise you that your efforts will positively affect the life of a child. Someone that you speak to will pass the knowledge on to someone else in need, and your awareness booth will directly benefit a child/family. It may take a month, it may take a year, but I guarantee that it will help a child in need receive the ET that he/she deserves.. It happens every time.

Thanks Tasha!!!!!

Love,

HRH
