Well done for getting this sorted out - so now Novartis make Tegretol compounded? sorry, am not too familiar with the drug side. How would I go about sorting this out for our son? His last seizure was in May. Is your daughter not on tegretol at all now? I feel that this is the very first thing to start cleaning up on, thanks, Alison To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe Sent: Tuesday, 3 January 2012, 17:45 Subject: Re: Anyone with a teenager on biomed?

Alison,

Unless the tegretol is compounded, it probably has a milk ingredient plus a lot of other nasty stuff. It took us 6mos and the help of a couple pharmacists before novartis would own up and say that YES there was an unlisted milk component. Once we got tegretol compounded the seizure gluten/casein connection was all too apparent. Glad you are thinking diet cleanup too.

Does anyone have a child with a similar age I can share experiences with. There doesnt seem to be many people I have come across who are doing this regime for older children. Has been impossible to implement the GFCF diet, my son has been taking supps for 8 weeks now with marked changes!
