Hi Sadhana,

You know, the funny thing is almost everyone seems saddened by the results, yet

somebody obviously has voted him back to power.

Again repaeting office talk, a little less than half of America is sad, and ....

nearly the whole of the rest of the world!

The highest office of any country is not necessarily occupied by

occupied by those who can manipulate the head, heart and senses of

the general public.

Both. A woman on top would perhaps, yes perhaps be able to make life better for

the women.

And yet was Indira gandhi able to do it? or would Gandhi have been able

able to do it?

I don't know. But do you really feel in America women breathe easier? I wonder.

Its just that the manner of male dominance changes. My perception entirely.

Look at sevagram, while we worked in the villages, thought life was bad for the

women there. Now We are at Delhi, all working and liberated women, supposedly.

but are they really???? I wonder

dear anchita,

women are better off in the western world --

in fact i have a theory ( and i want to perish before that comes true)

man dominated the world when might ( physical ) ruled -- as intellectual might

and emotional resilience might takes over -- women will rule--

the female intellect has not fully matured or manifested yet --- genetically

supressed because of millenia of male domination--

but things are changing -- a trend -- look at medical school admissions --

there is not a single medical discipline in USA where women have not excelled

and overcome the male mafia -- only department they have to improve is their

administrative skills -- where they have to stop acting like a woman - b***** !!

i know many successful women whose husbands are 'house husbands' --

in america if a spouse decides to stay home for the sake of kids and family --

it is the spouse who makes less -- irrespective of sex -- in the educated

families that are progressive ofcourse !!

ofcourse thank god -- in my home still male chauvinism rules -- as my wife is

still the typical desi nari ( strong genetic loading...you see ) -- i am lucky

and obliged ;))

its a shame that might ( physical) has ruled for so many generations !!
