Taking a long time to light up is usually new type of dirty green bulb, it gets brighter as it gets warmer?

I'm not sure what one it has I have in the bedroom but it takes forever to light up and even then not very bright, in the Kitchen I think we have halogen which are instantly bright.Vicky.

That would be fluorescent.

LCD TVs and monitors also contain mercury. Please be careful

in case of breakage and replace with LED ones. Also please dispose of unwanted eco

low energy bulbs in recycling facilities so they do not land up in land fills.

Dread to think of the mercury landing in someone's back yard or worse affecting

children who play around them.

June

Thanks June will do. If it is an LCD is the problem only if they break or do they emit mercury vapours whilst on do you know? Janet To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe From: junegoh@...Date: Sun, 8 Jan 2012 23:32:10 +0000Subject: Re: LED lighting

To find out if you have LCD or LED TV or monitor. Look at back

of TV, it should be labelled. Or do a Google search of the make & model.
