yes... do it - i have been a lot healthier since living in a house with hardwood floors...and also stained concrete flooring. you can see the dust and need to sweep more often, but thatz just it - you can SEE it... it doesnt settle down in to carpet....

between that and an air purifier... i think that my home environment is a lot healthier.

When I had laminate flooring put down, they had to saw the pieces and

there was a lot of dust in the air. I coughed a lot for several days

also cold like symptoms (allergies?)

Other than that it seems to be ok.

there was a lot of dust in the air. I coughed a lot for several days

Just checking on how the wood floors were bad for your asthma as
