Thanks for the encouragement. I know I am doing the right thing and in the end it will all be worth it. I am only about an hour and 15 minutes away from CT ... so not to bad. Especially when I hear and read how far some of you are going. I feel lucky in that sense. I will dream about red spots disappearing and tomorrow they will come true, lol.

Red spots are normal, especially in the beginning it can take some

adjustments to get the perfect fit. But I'm sure they'll shave those

areas as needed tomorrow hopefully, and that'll take care of it. I

hope your not far from your clinic (well as long as you don't get lost

again! hehe).

I'm glad he doesn't mind wearing it! That's a relief. The sweating

will definitley decrease over the next week or so after his body temp

adjusts to wearing it.

I took Abby's band off while getting her dressed or undressed, that 2

mins wasn't gonna effect anything....I also like snap shirts or one

piece jumper type pant suits that I could put on starting with her

legs, then working up - that way I didn't need to worry about the band.

Let us know if you go for your adjustment tomorrow, otherwise things

seem to be going smooth for you!

I just hope he doesn't take after my husband who sweats in the air conditioning if he even looks out the window at the sun, lol. Maybe I should wear a hat and then I could drop some of this water weight ... yeah right, like its water. My weight might become an issue now that we are banding . We always seem to have to stop for lunch on the way home. Good thing we are as close as we are or we might have had to stop for dinner also, lol.

Hi ,

Red spots are normal in the beginning. It sometimes takes a few

adjustments before the band fits just right! Hopefully they'll be

able to take care of it for you tomorrow. Glad to hear that he is

adjusting ok. In a few weeks his body temp will adjust to the band

and the sweating will ease up, a lot. Please let us know what happens

tomorrow.

The sad part was it was our second time their and we got lost the first time also. I had to call them on the cell phone but I didn't know where I was so she couldn't help me much, lol. I thought for sure when we showed up on time today they were all going to faint. Oh well, I think I finally have it down pat except tomorrow we are going to their other office so who knows if we will find that one, lol. I guess one day I will have to get one of those GPS systems, lol.

It can take a couple adjustments the first week or so to alleviate

all the red spots.

You sound just like me passing the place. I am so bad about that!

The sweating will decrease after his body temp adjusts. Just

remember to keep removing the band every couple hours the first few

days and toweling it and 's head down. This is a good time

of year to be banded. Dane was banded Feb-May last year and we

didn't have to worry about the weather making him miserable!

Well, we made it to the new office without any problems. Of course when we took off the band he hardly had any red spots ... doesn't it figure, lol. I felt a little silly but Ari was sweet about it. She said not to worry and said it was good to be safe rather then sorry. She also shaved a little away from some areas so I guess it was good we went in. I also got to meet other moms and talk to them which I really liked. Plus all the cute babies!

So everything looks good and I guess I just had to give a little bit longer then I wanted to, lol. I just have to keep up with the sweat mopping and then its 23 hours. Woo hoo!

As for the GPS ... wow I wonder if you stop for fast food if it knows how much weight you just put on, lol. I think I would freak out if I got in an accident and then it asked me. To weird. That's just a little bit to big brother for me, lol.
