I have heard of adding foam at the ear hole, although it doesn't

inspire confidence. Has the dent improved? If not I would ask him to

make a new helmet. If the band is somehow ruined during treatment, or

never fit right from the beginning, the ortho should make a new one at

no charge. Have you seen progress in 4 weeks. If not you should also

consider switching orthos if possible. Where is your starband from?

Maybe someone else is familiar with your ortho?

our 4th week with the Starband and it seems like we are at the

ortotist's office twice a week, like he can't get it right... We are

always having new red spots that require adjustment... AND the

orthotist had to add a piece above the ear cut-out because he had

originally cut it too far, causing a very visible dent in baby's skull

just above his ear. Has anyone ever heard of that?

original fit adjustments we have had no adjustments made to her

helmet. We are not having any problems with red spots or anything. I

am just wondering if this is normal? I keep reading that a good

orthotist is so important and I feel like ours is good but he really

hasn't done anything so...Thanks for any input!mom to Emma, 9
