We like orgran rice and millet spirals - not sure if organic though.  Doesn't go as mushy as rice pasta

Hi , Sainsburys do one in their free-from range but i think it's made of corn so was a no-go here - also a bit gluey when done, but that could be how i was cooking it. Waitrose stock quite a few gluten-free products, i'd imagine they'd have something other than Doves.

The other one that some health shops sell is buckwheat pasta - i think by organix? - it's a mixture of buckwheat and rice flour. Again have to go easy with the cooking of it or becomes gloopey.  Janet

Subject: Ideas for GF organic pasta please.

Hi All,

Does anyone know/use any other brands of organic gluten-free brown/white

pasta and where to buy from? I've been using Doves Farm organic brown

rice pasta but it tastes quite bitter and Norman is not too keen on the

taste.

Any suggestions please.

I have recently found that King Soba brown rice noodles have been great, my Jack does eat the Doves range but absolutely loves the noodles and they dont mush up at all and tastes exactly like linguine pasta. I get mine in Tesco.

Hi Janet and Alison,Thanks for the ideas. I too have been avoiding corn with Norman (I'mnot sure if it is good or bad for him as it is so hard to tell with him)but I'll have a look at what's avail in Waitrose and willl look at the

buckwheat one too. It's so hard to find something suitable when tryingto avoid many things at same time be organic as I'm sure everyone knows.emily x >>> Hi , Sainsburys do one in their free-from range but i think it'smade of corn so was a no-go here - also a bit gluey when done, but thatcould be how i was cooking it.
