Does your child struggle with reading?

The MBUMC Reading Ministry is sponsoring an overview of Language, a

research based method that has helped many children overcome their

difficulties. If your child has trouble reading, you won't want to miss

this opportunity! The overview will be held August 29th-30th.

Registration:

The workshop will be open for Reading Ministry volunteers immediately.

June 15th: open registration for church members

June 20th: open to the community

Times: 8:30-3:30

Room: B118

This workshop will be paid for by funds donated by the UMW and others who

are interested in helping children with reading problems. Donations to the

Reading Ministry are always appreciated.

Does you child struggle to read on grade level?

Parents are often the first to realize that their child has a reading

problem.

· Come to a mini-camp August 4th - 7th to find out if your hunch is correct.

· We will be assessing children in areas of accuracy, rate, fluency and

comprehension.

· We will also measure their phonetic base which research supports as the

most common basis of most reading problems.

· So come join us for an afternoon of fun, food and learning of basic skills

for reading.

Time: 4:00-6:00 (Monday - Thursday)

Grades: Rising 1st, 2nd and 3rd

Each class will be taught by a certified Georgia teacher with M.Ed. The

classes will be assisted by trained instructors and teenage helper. No
