Guest guest
Yikes Heidi: It sounds like he may be going thru a phase of difficult sleeping, but it would alarm me having him wake screaming holding his head, even w/o his helmet on. He did fall back to sleep after you let him cry it out, so that is a good sign. Believe me, I know how difficult it is having them cry it out,but honestly, it works (as long as they're not sick of course). Like I said earlier, Abby had a bad bad phase around age 13 or 14 mos where she'd wake up in the middle of the night to play. Stupid me allowed this for 3 LONG mos, play from 2-4 am, not a good habit to get intoby any means I finally had enough come Sept or so 2001, and made her cry it out (old times remember my stressed out posts about this!!!), after 3-5 sleepless nights of her crying it out, she got over it and that was the end of that problem, thank God. I remember cranking my fan up in my bedroom, covering my ears w/my pillow and crying right along w/her. It sucked! I feel your pain, trust me. I really wish I could help you more, but the day any of us figure out toddlers, we'll be zillionaires!
