Guest guest
Well we are now less then 1 week away from seeing our spine specialist here in Vancouver. it has been 8 months since we were put on the ist and it almost here. last time we had x-rays done was 4 months ago and Thaddeus' curve was 41 on to 50 on bottom. im really afraid of what it is now. his back doesnt look as bad as it did but he can now sit on his own so i think his muscles are stronger. Also i already know that this Dr. does not believe in casting.. he thinks it causes rib deformites ect. so i know we wont be talking about casting. im hoping i will get him to order the MRI so we can atleast get that on the go. We are also hoping maybe we can get a brace made so we can keep his curve the same. Today i recieved my package from Shriners and we have a appointment on Feb 10/2010. its going to be crazy traveling so close to the olympics(busy busy)im really hoping that he will be able to be casted when we go down there so we wont have to wait longer and travel back down there in a month or something. Hey you never know... maybe just the brace will work! i dont think so but ya never know. I just dont know what this Dr is going to say. He is a great Surgen but.. thats all he does. i know he is going to try and convince me to not do casting but i hear all these good things from all you ladies and i cant ignore that. i know casting will work. Thaddeus responded really well to his leg splints ect for his Muscle Contractors. I cant wait to get some answers and get our treatment on its way. 2010 is going to be a awsome year. with some great correction for everyone!! Oh i feel overwhelmed... cant wait till Tuesday Jan 5/09 then shriners here we come in Feb... :S Mom to Thaddeus 11 Months
