Guest guest
We got some shoes at pay less.I also was able to get Barbie shoes with velcro until size 3.Now my 6 year old is in size 4 and we also have had problems.I got the elastic laces that are curly and you just pull them to tighten.(in regular lace up shoes)Also buckle up maryjane or other dress shoes do well. The shoes were black and not girly enough so we used silicone and glued the fake jewels from hobby shop.We have replaced them a couple of times but it did work.Good Luck!!!!! Guest guest
Hi all here goes my first post. Yes for me the curly shoestrings from payless have been a godsend. I also have a son with PDD and he has fine motor skills problem. He tried for so long to tie his shoes but never could. I found them when I went to payless and asked the mgr. If they had the velcro shoes in a bigger size. She showed me the curly shoe strings and the rest is history. Plus they come in lots of pretty colors, which is great for the girls but made it hard for me with the little boy who's fave colors are black black and black.
