Usually something triggers the lungs to become even more inflamed and

what triggers my asthma can be different from yours. I have been able

to determine my triggers and I have them from worse down.

cat dander

pollution like tar or ozone action days

ciggarette smoke

winter/cold air

tree pollen

ragweed

dust mites

Thank You all for replying to me. My wife and my nephew have a hard time breathing and I bought an air cleaner that has allowed them to breath and to actually sleep well and not snore. I liked it so much I decided to sell them. The claims that the manufacturer makes are tremendous as well as the results feedback I have personally received from those with breathing concerns. If you would like to read about it go to http://www.FreshAirLiving.com/Anotel the password is guest. Or go to http://www.fresho2.net . Thank you, I am still learning about the effects of air quality. As a kid I was not concerned, now I notice the effects in children and adults alike and wanted to do something to help.

Bye now

I "hope now" I have figured it out for next time :-)>What causes an asthma attack? What are the top reasons? And other thing in the ballgame is to remember to take your rescue/reliever with you wherever you go or be able to get to it quickly - like walk indoors and use it. in West Auckland, NZCyber Hugs for today/yesterday/tomorrow

when somthings stimulate your immune system and make them releases chemicals

that cause asthma symptoms. We may be sensitive to different triggers, but most

people sensitize to pollens.

I don't think there are any " top reasons " but my understanding is cigarette

smoke, exercising hard without taking rescue/reliever, weather, pollens,

dustmites, animal dander, " life " :-), overdoing things in unusual

conditions i.e. dusty conditions.

Not stopping when you should and taking rescue inhaler - thinking it won't

matter - it will be alright etc.

Now that I personally understand things - I am very quick to take rescue

reliever asap - think about what it is I'm going to do/venture & think

about whether I should take 2 puffs beforehand.

I got caught out 2 weeks ago when I did something I sort of do normally but

subtracted something from the equation and something went wrong. I " hope

now " I have figured it out for next time :-)
