Guest guest
hello, My daughter, 13 year old, is also drinking lots and lots of water at the moment which is a problem because she can get seizures. I was just reading your posts and wondering what there was in common. We're with Dr Goyal too.here's what we give her, are there any similarities? We just come off flucanzole and azithromycin because they were not doing her any good. They had been prescribed for for about three months but we've stopped after one. The other things she takes are: magnesium, calcium, zinc, chromium (because of blood sugar problems) " Speak " Therbiotic complete, Thornes ACE, Keppra (antiepileptic), Magnesium citrate, Buffered Vitamin C, selenium (but not every day. We've just started on Goldenseal instead of Diflucan. And we've had to stop the AC chelation for three weeks because of the Strep problem. My theory is that she's taking lots of water to reduce the impact of either the toxins which have been produced by the bacteria or because of the heavy metals whizzing around because we have not chelated. Guest guest
Hi YasmeenI think Natasha is right that excessive drinking could be sympathetic imbalance caused by inflammation/illness.My daughter always has excessive drinking and OCD behaviours when unwell.Last time she was really poorly for 5 months continuously. At the time testing showed she had raised White cell count, low iodine , low t3 , low sodium low vit D , high cholesterol , high uric acid, some hormonal disregulation with high testosterone. At that time her supplementation was fairly basic just kirkmans spectrum complete,Nordic naturals cod liver oil, melatonin,5HTP,magnesium. Since supplementing iodine and vitamin D and stopping depo injections she seems to be in much better health and the excessive drinking has subsided. She is at the severe end of the spectrum and can't verbalise how she is feeling. She has been GF /CF for nearly 3 years. We see Dr Goyal for the first time next week.We have had support from autism treatment trust in Edinburgh. They think OCD behaviours are due to infectionBWKATHSent from my iPad hello, My daughter, 13 year old, is also drinking lots and lots of water at the moment which is a problem because she can get seizures. Guest guest
Seizures are not the only problem with excessive water drinking. If long term and if fluids are not excreted at a fast enough rate it can be life-threatening. Guest guest
Could she be having gluten or dairy? Excessive drinking can be a sign that shes getting gluten and dairy into her system. Have you tried removing soy as well? Has she been tested for diabetes which can also be an excessive water intake. Maybe she is drinking water to ease the strep throat? > Seizures are not the only problem with excessive water drinking.
