What medications are your kids on?

Our daughter is now going to be 12 this Dec 17th, and now thinking

of a medication. She also has Asperger as well as ADHD. We just

wanted her to grow up psysically the nature way before putting her

on any meds. She was only taking the remedys natural vitimins

before.

Dear ,

We, too, never imagined putting our

daughter on meds, but I prayed and prayed and

happened to grab Temple Grandin's book one day (I must

own 500 books on Autism) and opened up to the page

where she described the anxiety she experienced

because of the Autism and how medication greatly

helped. This, along with talking to professionals and

parents convinced us that it was the right thing to

do. has been calmer, more able to focus and

attend to her schoolwork. We still have our moments,

but compared to before,it's like night and day. She is

currently on Risperdal.
