Well then lets just ignore the offensive posts and get on with the discussion about ASHTHMA!!

My doctor put me on daily flovent 2 puffs in the morning and 2 puffs at night because my lungs get so irritated easily. Does anyone else take flovent daily?

I think these days people has moved to advair kind of stuffs,where ICS

and LABA both are mixed.well,flovent may work for mild asthma case.

I take Flovent daily twice a day. Sometimes I have to do Serevent

on top of the Flovent so my doctor will be switching me to Advair,

which is like Flovent and Serevent combined he said. My coworker

takes it and she loves it. I do have some advice with the Flovent.

1) Use a spacer. That's what I used and it really helped with getting

the medication into my lungs.

2) Rinse your mouth out with water or some other liquid after your

done taking the medication to prevent getting thrush or some other

ill side effects on your throat.

I am just upset because I never had to take anything on a regular basais for my asthma. I only used meds when I was sick. Now I'm to the point of having to use flovent everyday or my lungs feel irritated. Do lungs degenerate? Do lungs become dependent on flovent and when you stop them do you get an attack or bad irritation? Is flovent safe to use everyday? http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/AsthmaSupport/ I just began a new asthma group due to some problems here about no moderation on this group I am hoping everyone will leave this group and come there.
